Default coaches dropping off ????

coaches,

Why do you think some coaches drop out of sight/SITE when it comes to electricfied football. Were they serious in the first place or casual peeping toms in the world of miniature football. In the world of instant access, there is no reason to vanish all of a sudden. IT'S A PRIVALEDGE TO BE A PART OF THIS COMMUNITY AND ALL SHOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT.

Alot of work has gone into this entire venture. Maintaining it is a job many of us cannot handle. I DONT KNOW HOW WOLF AND THE GOVERNING BODY DO IT. This is a second home to many of us and a motel stay to others. Those who treat this like a second home welcome the company of o.thers from the neighborhood (US).

It took many years to acquire an association like this and it should be appreciated to the highest degree. THIS IS WHAT WE CREATED AND HAVE SO LETS JUST ENJOY IT. You can access this site via

1) ipod's
2)blackberries
3)ipad

THERE IS NO REASON NOT TO STAY CONNECTED

***I understand if there is a serious medical condition that will sideline you for a while. Those who decide to leave, what is the real reason. WHAT HAPPEND THAT WAS SO BAD, YOU GAVE UP ALL OF YOUR MINIATURE FOOTBALL RIGHTS AND ENJOYMENT. Since this association began, NOTHING TO EARTH SHATTERING HAPPEND TO FORCE YOU OUT ON TO THE STREETS.

Ego is mans biggest killer and thats who put you on to the streets.

THIS CHATBOARD HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT FUN. (FIGHTS AND ALL). Cant we all look at some of the past arguments and laugh at them today.

****WHEN WHERE YOU CLOSE TO LEAVING THE HOBBY AND WHAT STOPPED YOU ?

This is a great place to be, SIT BACK AND ENJOY IT

Guys get into it a little and then realize what a commitment it takes and make the excuse they do not have the time.

You have to make time and dedicate yourself to this hobby, just like any other. You have to work it into your life and want it in your life, the casual gamers always fall to the wayside.

Default Dropping Off

Just because people are not on the site doesn't mean they are not playing anymore. With all the stupidity on this site many people with half a brain look at it and say, "I don't want any part of that." It's been said for years to keep your trash off the message boards. Some still find the need to "make their point known" and as a result people don't want any part of this. Say what you want, call it what you want, call me brash, rude whatever but new guys will NOT come and stay when they see what they see on here. That's why they drop off.

So Raiderman, Detroitchild....show me the proof of your statement. Send me some links to the posts you are talking about and we will see what it is that keeps you from frequenting this site. Maybe there are some things we need to look at from a board perspective that would help to get more people to stay.

Default Proof

All the posts of "I'm leaving and never coming back." The argument posts. You do a good job moderating the board. Dre just asked the question why people leave. That's why they leave. I've had well known people in this hobby ask why they should renew their membership because they're sick of all the stupidty. The good guys get tired of the stupidity and egos. Those who are not committed to it like we are don't want to be part of it, hence they leave. (Good use of the word hence huh?). LOL! I have new guys in my League that look on here and told me that they don't want to be part of this. Those are new guys that know nothing about the hobby or the people. They came and that was their first impression. They don't want to be bothered with it. Are they commited? Well they've played all their league games to this point so I think so. Again, nothing against you, Dre just asked the question. I just gave him an answer. No hard feelings if you pull it. I know you have to do what you need to do and that's cool.

Now get your second cup of coffee and relax! LOL!

Fellas this is true only if u allow yourself to be pulled into the B.S., trust me I know, if I allowed other people to define who I am with personal assaults I would've buried my head in the sand a long time ago. This forum has been a hell of a rollercoaster ride for me personally, 1 minute im on top of the hill, next an earthquake hits the whole ride collapses and somehow I survive then begin to dig my way out truth of the matter is this has become a second family for me, some family love to see me, some hate to see me coming. If u allow the latter to dominate your experience, then yes its easy to walk away. This forum has been a HUGE instrument for promoting the hobby be it + or - & something that hobby can't do without!, it'll be like going back to the dark ages of a censored Miggle site. We are all Adults, make a phone call & quit acting like B & all will be well, its a hobby, if u owe someone pay em', if u have personal issues dont drag us all down with u, if your wife trippin dont commit to gameday without checking with her first, and Rule #1 if u have people coming in town SHOW UP, ive seen this destroy leagues. Lets have fun peace.

I see the tiresome stuff probably more than anyone, but I also see the very good stuff. In my eyes the good out weighs the negative.

When someone is in bad health or lost someone, the community offers them prayers and wishes. When someone has a question about how to do something, they usually get an answer or someone calls them personally to assist them. When we ask for donations to help those who have lost a job, yet they don't want to lose their membership, people stepped up and donated to help them. Seeing the great painters works...Guttmann, Mega, Gridiron, French Guy, 5-13 and many others. Game play by plays from coaches that are exciting to read. Seeing new leagues start up and posting about their first games. The photos of the cool game action from around the country and the world for that matter.

Yes there are times things get out of hand. Do you watch the news on TV? Things get out of hand all around us everyday that have nothing to do with miniature football. The funny thing is, when the messy posts start up is when the forum is at its busiest. Everybody tunes in to see the car crash. I can back that statement up with stats. I wish those that need the drama in their lives would find other things to do, but they tend to hang around because we feed them by responding to their drama. We do it, just like we turn on the TV every night to see the news.

It will NEVER be perfect and some people just don't have the time for a forum and get their needed info from their league mates. That is cool. It's really not about just being on this site...that isn't important...its about people finding that this game still exists and finding leagues and coaches around them that can help them. If that is all this site does (and it has helped with that) then we are fulfilling part of our purpose.

We will continue to monitor the craziness so that the new people don't have to be exposed to it. As for those that have been around a while, people are people. To stay away from something as GOOD as this forum can be because of a few bad apples is doing a disservice to the MFCA. Post more...not less, so that the bad posts have no place to rest. If we would do that, the drama would for the most part stop and the bad apples would find somewhere else to lurk.

Now, I'll go have my third cup off coffee...i'm feeling less cranky.
