Props to Joel Prithard

Everybody knows that Joel is an outstanding base tweaker. I just wanted to give Joel a high five. He sent me 4 bases this week to try out. 3 of those bases were immediately put in my starting line-up (1 speed, 2 strong). The bases are outstanding! I tweak a little myself and I have learned a few things from Joel. I could look at the bases and tell which type of figure would work the best. Sometimes you need to match the tweaked base with the right figure and when you do the results are tremendous. Get some tweaked bases from Joel and match them up with the right figure and you will be very happy with the results! Thanks Joel

Thanks guys for all the kind words.
I try to accomodate every one in the quickest time and give them TOP quality equipment to play with.
I want everyone to be on a equal playing field. Lets let ones coaching skills determine the outcome of a game instead of equipment.

Not only a great tweeker but a very good player and even better friend. Joel takes great pride in his work. I dont have any of his bases, but he made me a kicker that is unreal mabe the best in the league. As far as his bases I can tell you how good they are because I have played aginst them alot. They are very good.

Not only a great tweaker and coach, but a great guy as well !!! One of the guys that enjoys helping others. He has helped me an awful lot with tweaking and strategy as well.

My tweaking techniques have sorta become my own style, however, it's a combination of Geno, Joel with a bit of RPD "curl" technique all rolled into one.

It's great to talk with these guys and use what they give to get your own style. I also have found the fig/base match makes a big difference in strength and speed as efgamer mentions. On one base a blocker figure may be really strong and another a buzzball lineman may bring the base to life or a wide arm dude. Same for speed.

With all the different figs, including customizing, I have not actually figured this out yet to a "science"...this will take time and experimentation.

Playing in leagues with Joel himself and teams tweaked by Joel keeps me at it working harder on tweaking or I'm in big trouble.

Just as a side note, has the MFCA ever considered recognizing the "mentors" that are so kind and helpful? Maybe a Mentor of the year by region?? Just a thought...

BTW, he can COOK too !!!!
