Can someone please explain "turn and burn"?
I've seen the term on here, but not really sure what it means.

ok buddy,v the term turn and burn means that after a pass reciever or running back after catching the football , can be adjusted or angled towards the end zone instead of running out of bounds , i for one enjoy this rule.

ok, that makes sense. Completely different from what I tought...that is facing the receivers in the opposite direction on the LOS prior to the snap, then after the first stoppage, turning them around to head upfield.

I thought it was when you were at the beach, and you start to get a little sleepy, then you turn over to 'get more comfortable' but you fall asleep and don't wake up until it's too late and you end up looking like a peppermint drop. Red on one side and white on the other.....
