Default Miggle figures

It's been awhile since I ordered the regular miggle men, and was surprised to see a new design. The new ones are similar to the haiti repros. They are a little skinnier, but have much more detail than the old miggles. They even have defined fingers, and shoulder pads. I like em alot more. I also noticed the bag says "made in America". Kudos to miggle.

Are there photos anywhere that show the changes?

I believe these are the modified figures, looks like very subtle changes but an improvement none the less.

they are definitely skinnier. I find the addition of the raised helmet ridge to be slightly annoying as I now have to carve it off!

the added detail on the fingers is ok though.

Those appear to be the same style as was offered with the Tudor Snickers gameboard. Hopefully they have more weight than those Snickers figures did.

Default I like em...

...painted some up today, and they are much easier to paint than the last design. I think these are also slightly taller. I had a customer order 36 teams--all done with regular miggle men, so I guess I will be ordering many more of these. Thumbs up so far.

It is annoying. I know they are there on real helmets, but not this big.

Default Helmet Ridges

As an amateur painter who enjoys painting Miggle Football figures while watching Jets hi-lights I like the raised ridges since many of the teams I'm painting from the 70s have those vertical stripes down the middle. It also allows me to have a guide for the white stripe usually down the middle.

I'm just saying.
