Default Talent is just a word for this Man: Artlax the Great!!!

While we get to see Robert Slate, the coach of the BAM Green Bay Packers play with passion, it's rare you ever get the insights on a guy who is passionate about everything he does.

With a wife who is just as artistic (she makes football coverings for gameboards) and a son who could be the next Howard Cossell (Nick "The Slick" Slate), Bob home is filled with talent galore.

I had the chance to view some of his artwork first hand and it is always great to see where the passion came from. Next week, he will be putting out a full-blown BAM edition for the Super Bowl III which will be unrivaled by any league publication out there. He does this because he's a promo whiz, he loves his league, and he has the unique ability to contribute in many ways.

I sampled some of his work and thought I would share it with you. I know this is a miniature football site but sometimes good guys who do great work need some exposure of what they do. Slate is the best and his work is outstanding. If you get to know this guy, you can not help but come away totally impressed with his passion as an artist, a player, and most importantly, a family man.

Bob, I am sorry if I am putting you out there, and I know sometimes when I say things like this, the person comes back angry that I did it. But sometimes its okay to take the hit. In this instance, I will chance it and take the hit.

Here's some of Bob's work. That third piece, I definitely want to utilize for my league promo if it's okay with Bob. I will have to ask him about that. I know I am taking liberties putting you out there like this Bob - sorry .

Thanks for Sharing Artlax and good luck in the playoffs. I am sorry I missed it this year.

Reg

Good post Reggie.

We are very fortunate to have Bob in the BAM. It just wasn't the same when he was not there are the opening of the season.

I know Bob will be well-prepared for the BAM playoffs next weekend.

Default Cause most of the time...

K-Lo, guys will not give credit where credit is due. I always laugh how some may say I promote "I" all the time but I think I do a whole lot of promoting of "We" too, moreso than most.

I never really thought of it as promotions of Artlax but just that I am a person who appreciate art and good people. This just happen to be one in our midst.
