Default Artlax, here's a piece

Artlax,
What do you think about this one? This is one of Tom Brady, one of my favorite players in the NFL.

This is watercolors....

Default Asolutely a watercolor JPEG from ...

figures I do.

I've got customers who ask for those images to use in film work. When I was young, I use to paint sometimes and I would do watercolors.

That's many years ago when I had an eye for it. It's a lot of work!!! So now, people ask me to send watercolors of my figures, stadiums, and other things. I wish I could take credit for the actual painting here, just the image!!!

I did some shading on some players and I liked the results.

Default Another interesting filter...

is posterize or posterization.

Breaks images into larger, more basic color blocks - see this in commercials on tv for one of the investment firms.

Default When I get some...

time, I am gonna do some of these watercolors.

You know, it's so much easier to do watercolors when you've got the live model right there. I did this Brady last night and I wanted to try some shading techniques from Dimitri. I even did some "Grey Stuff" molding/sculpting but once I finished it, I decided to do a watercolor of it on my computer and loved it.

I've got the postuerized version too as well as the actual image.

Default This type of thing...

makes for great MF promotions. I don't know if you remember Super Bowl III from Tudor. It had the Colt and Jet going up in the air, fighting for the ball. That was an image from a previous year they had played against each other and they use that image to posteurize the gameboard as well as the Super Bowl III them.

There are always uses for many things that others may think is totally unnecessary.
