If a QB in the pocket makes an 15 yard (from LOS) pass there is a big difference between over the middle and an out on the sideline in distance the ball travels.

Using passing sticks does make the sideline pass harder.

However I thought your idea of a QB rolling right and throwing left as an example was very well thought out! Adding distance to that throw was a very good idea.

With miniatures every thing is simulated, the QB (You) have to be able to make the right read, on the 15 out you have to think about player position, and is there room to fit the pass in there. Then there are are other receiver you can pass to.

The one thing is that it holds true to football, and like runnung the ball stick passing is done with the board on thus allowing for the players on field to make the play.
