Help!! Bases
Hello,
Okay here is my problem. Ive ordered 3 different times from Miggle from Dec. of last year until now. Proline strong bases, rookie round and straight front bases. The plastic has been very hard versus the soft plastic it used to be. It cannot be tweaked very well for strength. Today I got the single clip because the last single clips I got were soft. But today they are as hard as the others. Have any of you others out there had any problems with the changing of the density and color of the plastic? I just know that the harder plastic on these make them almost useless for what I want to use them for. If anyone has some of the softer ones for sale please let me know because its a gamble buying from Miggle when you cant see them. In the past they all were soft and now its a luck of the draw or is this what they are making now?? Thanks for any help ... Joel |

Joel,
Call me 620-904-7000 anytime. There were three runs of the Prolines regardless of style. When you have then all side by side 1st run is a more almost flourescent Green. 2nd run is standard dark green. 3rd run is a touch lighter in color. Now to answer your question I havent ordered in the last couple of months but I did find all three colors to be close in nature. I do prefer the first run but they are becoming harder to find all the time. I do have some soft untweaked bases just hit me up with what you need. Geno H |

I got a good number of the same terrible bases you got a little over a month ago. I sent Miggle an email about it and got no response. I've started looking for other sources for my bases. Any recommendations from other coaches would be appreciated. |

I said something about this on Miggle's website and got very little response. I wish those Chinese dudes would stop messing with the recipe! They have ruined a great base.
Try heated tweak pliers, maybe that will help salvage some of them? |

Guys,
Call and complain (877)791-6644. Miggle needs to better unstand issues like this. Wally |

I also have found that the recipe's seem to change after the first runs. Like changing from the white bigmen to the ghosts! They are doing something. I talked to Mike Landsman today about it and he'll inquire with the chinese about the bases.
Today was his first day back to work since the convention. He's had 3 back surgery's that took care of the infection on his spine and was in rehab for 7 weeks. When I hear back I will be sure to let you know! Mike |

Bases
Guys,
Y'all already said what's been happen with Miggle's bases over the last year or so. I'm tweak'in bases for guys and it's getting harder and harder because of the chemical ingredients in the plastic and the die. Some have not enough oil and some have too much oil. Too much oil with the 1st run yellow bases. I'm snapping the prongs out so easily. Those guys in China are doing something. They are not doing the exact same thing every time and I don't understand why? Yes, we need to continously bring this to Mike Landsman's attention. We are the hobbies' quality control! Smitty |

From what I understand...
You don't get a lot of virgin plastic from China.. Most of it is recycled stuff.. SO.. It's pretty tough to have a consistent forumula. |
