ESPN to telecast high school football games all season

Something new this season is ESPN telecasting high school football on ESPN and ESPN 2. I think it is an awesome idea to telecast high school football to the masses and to go to every state and showcase two of the state's best teams.

I just turned on ESPN and they are broadcasting my home state of Indiana right now as I type this...Cathederal versus Carmel. These are two of the powerhouse football schools in the state and I just think this is so cool!

Check your local listings...maybe ESPN will be coming to a town near you.

I am a high school football fan fanatic, I go to highschool games that are not even in my district, I go all over (smile), this is great news.

Yes I agree this is awesome. Mine and Beenutts high school have been on ESPN the last 2 years. Now they are ranked by USA today as the #1 high school team in the country. James F. Byrnes Rebels from Duncan SC. Check it out. Undeafeted last year again and brought back 16 starters from last years team. They play teams from all across the country every year. So check them out , they run a spread option offense and the defense is very hard to score on also.
