Default Appetite for Impact - Heritage (Musical/Pictorial Montage)

"From the players of the past,
falls the bold shadow that they cast.

Measuring larger than life-size,
and giving breath to the game we prize."

Hello John,

Thank you for the kind words. I hope that the MF community enjoys it.

I think one can appreciate the present more when you acquire a knowledge of the past, i.e. what and who came before and how they effect the present. The montage is meant to entertain those who love pro football. So if a person just wants to 'rock out' and enjoy some photos of pro football from earlier days, so be it. Yet at the same time I tried to tell the story of the men of pro football from the 1920s to the 1970s - the formative years of pro football. Those tough and inventive men loved the game as we do, and the blows of their hammers on their chisels are what sculpted the form of the game today. So, if one wanted to look a little deeper at the montage they could see that each photo was placed with purpose.

Thank you for the feed back.

Best Wishes,

HappyCat

Hello RPD,

I am glad you enjoyed the montage. Thank you for the nice words.

The mark those men made on the modern game is indelible. There is a story behind each one of them. For example quarterback Joe Kapp, #11, of the Minnesota Vikings. What a player! This man embodied the the spirit of a football player - a man: smart, intense, tough and a fierce competitor! You better come prepared when you came to play him and his mates.

Thanks for posting the pics of your figures. Outstanding work! It is an on going pleasure to see the productions of our fellow MF enthusiasts. Keep up the fine work.

Best Wishes,

HappyCat

Happy Cat,

That was great and thanks for putting that together. Looking back those men played for the love of the game.

Thanks again,
