Championship football is back....
This weekend begins the 39th season of Solitaire football in -ville...
Opening game will feature Titans @ Cardinals This season will have some new rules to make games a little more fun..... - Offense can motion (move from one side of the formation to the other) along with pivots...[most other rules like BEFL - PRO] and defense gets one more than the offense and if offense does nothing, defense still gets it's one motion. - will be using the miggle clock for all games this season.... - fumble man on defense - effantic punk/kickoff cards will be used on both - pass compltions - if it hits the figure you can continue with the RAC; if it hits the base ball dead right there; if stick is used - only 12 and 18 yd sticks. |

Wow!
Holy cow...39th season...how old are you K-Lo?
Can we see a list of all your league champions? Do you play pro, college or both? Better be some Cowboy Superbowl Champs! Do you play a full 32 team schedule? How many games per team? I thought I was the only one playing solitaire league since diapers? Good to know I am not the only one!

ive been playing solitaire since september 1974. i had stats from 74 to 79, but i dont know what happened to them. i took a break like most of us from 16 til about 29 0r 30. then another break til about 97, thats when i boosted my collection from 40 teams to now over 450 teams. i dont play much anymore, but its nice to be able to pull out any team from any era since 1967 and play a game.

39 years!!!!
Wow!! K Lo isnt that old he just never stopped playing or played two seasons per year lol. His league does run pretty deep and I know there is a lot of great history there.
I wish I would have kept playing...I did 15 seasons from 77-84. I have stats for about 3 or 4 of those seasons. I still have them too. A dream of mine is to compile all of the stats in a spreadsheet and induct players into my solitaire hall of fame. I have yet to do it but I think I will get there one day.....I like pulling out those old sheets of paper from time to time to look at them. Now that my youngest son Aric who is 3 loves EFL I will keep them for him and just keep playing with him. He loves the game like I did at that age and I'm hoping even in this digital age he will be a player. AJ |
