308 vs Rose bowl game board
What are the differences between the 308 and the rose bowl game board besides the size ?

The 308 is made individually by R.Rutledge at FF.net and is a fiberboard (wood field) with a seperate controller for board speed. The Rose bowl game is a metal field mass produced by Miggle and generally considered a good "starter field" and is of the traditional design like the old "super bowl" fields from back in the Tudor days. As you noted the 308 is larger in size and generally more "live" with more speed to the board. Many people that use the 308 play with added weight (4.0 weighted standard) to the figures so that they run smoother on the faster board. When ordering the 308 you can order custom field covers with virtually any graphics that you may want.

It is well documented that the new Miggle 620 has a few "issues" such as a crown in the center of the field. You would be better off finding an older Tudor 620. I have a couple I could part with if that interests you. Check your private messages.
