Default NFL goal posts size ?

Hi,

I want to make all the parts of my gameboard from scratch, so I need measurements for the goal posts.

My game field measures 42" x 22". So I'd appreciate some help for the measurements (A, B, C, D)of my goal posts.

Even if you don't have the scaled measurements for my gameboard, real world NFL sizes should be great (so I can make the measurement conversion on my own).

Diameter of the "tubes" composing the goal posts should be great too.

If you can help me for that...thank you !

Thank you

If anyone knows the "D" measure...

If not I'll extrapolate it myself

Default goal posts measurements

A is 30 ft. according to the NFL rule book that I have, and diameter of posts not less than 3" and not more than 4". There is no specification for D. Only other specifications from the rule book are orange ribbons attached to the top of each upright 4" wide by 42" inches long.

SO, I made a little calculation, I post it for reference purpose (who knows, perhaps one day it will help another guy using metric system).

A = 30' = 9.15 ms
B = 18'6" = 5.63 ms
C = 10' = 3.048 ms

Diameter :

largest 4" = 10.16 cms (I believed that was bigger than that!)
smaller 3" = 7.62 cms

In the game scale (supposed to be 28mm or 1/58, according to threads I readed here) :

A = 16 cms
B = 9 cms
C = 5 cms

Diameter :

largest : 0.17 cms (??? I 'll have to make bigger posts than that )
smaller : 0.13 cms (??? I 'll have to make bigger posts than that )

thanks again

I found some tubing and stuff to make it, and even a yellow paint wich will do the job
