Default HOW MANY COACHES USE

COACHES

How many coaches play soletaire and USE DICE TO CALL THE PLAY whether it be run or pass. Also another set of dice to call a specific play from your play chart. IRON EAGLE posted how he uses dice in the rules section and it sounds great. The bottom line is, The more elaborate your play chart is, the more exciting your games will be. The usage of dice in this area work extremely well in keeping a game honest. You the coach of 2 seperate teams have no idea what play will be next until you roll the dice.
The dice can determine to the letter specific defensive schemes from blitzes to cover 2 thru 4. Man to man. 4-3, 3-4, 5-2 eagle.

On offense, the dice can determine

1) a sweep left
2)a sweep right
3)trap plays
4) qb sneak
5)5 wide
6)2 te
7)THE WILD CAT
***SPECIFIC PRIMARY RECEIVER ROUTES
1 ) OUT ROUTE
2) SLANT ACCROSS THE MIDDLE.
3)COME BACK ROUTE
4)GO ROUTE BOMB.

***ETC ETC ON AND ON AND ON. The games will be as exciting as far as your play calling mind will take you

I have 20 sided dice. If i combine 3 that's 60 different plays that can happen.
The more plays created the more dice you add. Just add the dice up after the roll for the play call. So although you are playing alone, the plays are coming from the booth (THE DICE).

IRON EAGLE SAID SOMETHING INTERESTING, He said as the coach if a dice roll/play call does not make sense. For instance 3rd and 4 and the dice come up as a run up the gut. He has the power to overule that roll and audible to another play.

That's a great idea and my question is

Should there be special dice just for any audibles. ? For instance, a seperate play chart just for audibles ?

Please give further insight on this matter if you can. Although you still love competing with others. If you played a really detailed and organized soletaire game, you may find it just as exciting. IT WOULD BE BORING IF YOU JUST SET UP A PLAY KNOWING WHAT THE OFFENSE IS GOING TO DO. THEN SET UP A BASIC DEFENSE JUST TO STOP WHAT YOU ALREADY KNOW.

THANX

Andre, I always play with a chart for the defense and roll dice to see what defense is bsing used. I'm always the offensive coach going against a phantom defensive coach. What I do is set up my offense, then roll the dice to see what the defense is going to be. Basically, I have 16 different formation's for them. 6 different 4-3's, 5 different 3-4's, 4 different 5-2's and a goalline stand. Once the defense is set, then I turn the offense and go with the play. Next season I'm going to have offensive charts and be the defensive coach. Then, I'll try letting the dice do both so I can just sit back and watch.

Default dice rolls

If you have 3 20 sided dice, it is actually, 20 X 20 X 20 = 8000 different rolls.

Default THE SYSTEM, THE DICE ROLL

ATT THE SYSTEM,

My meaning was if 20x20x20 came up, that is play #60 on the chart !

If it was 20x3x18 that is play # 41

***BUT YOU ARE RIGHT !!!!!!

YOU CAN ALSO HAVE

20X10X11 THAT WILL EQUAL PLAY # 41 ALSO WHICH IS COOL. I GUESS THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS TO GET TO 41 AND OTHER NUMBERS.

ONLY ONE WAY TO GET TO PLAY 60 WHICH IS THE 3 20'S

***THAT MAKES IT EVEN MORE INTERESTING
