Default Every Day More....

users at the new site. Our host for the main site called me today and every single day they have had to up the bandwidth to our new site. 900 people have visited in a week including Africa, South America, Russia, Korea, Japan, China, Europe. You can see the user map at: http://miniaturefootball.org/about-t.../visitors-map/
The host company is amazed and he is even more amazed how long they are staying on the site.

We have had to accept some free ads on the site to pay for the bandwidth, but all in all this is a small price to pay for where this is headed.

With that said, it means we need to keep putting our best foot forward. Articles are coming soon from Lomax and the french guy which you won't want to miss. Rip is stirring up trouble in his blog, "Getting Ripped" and Chris Lemay is leading discussions on collecting in his blog, "Hog Leg or Chicken Leg"! Others are signing on to create their own blogs and all of this will eventually mean new people who discover this hobby again or for the very first time.

Thanks to all and keep it coming!

Ask them for a verification of email addresses and IP addresses! Wouldn't surprise me that these are spammers and such? Don't get me wrong, I hope its everyone that is interested in EF. But I'd want supportive evidence on it.

That just may be me though

Awwww, you negative nelly....the nice thing about the reporting system on the new site is that it weeds alot of the spammers out. The report is predominately your average person just cruising the web. Not all are interested in miniature football. They may have searched the word miniature or electric or football or something else, but whatever they searched it brought them to the site. The kicker is the amount of time they spend on the site. When they get here they have to check it out even if it wasn't what they were searching for. Ultimately, that will spread the fact that this hobby is out there and hopefully grow it.

Guttmann, you won a game finally so be happy! In the words of Oddball in Kelley's Heroes, "Always with the negative waves Moriarty, always with the negative waves. "

tonight (tommorow in the worst case) I'll post my first article. My contribution to the english speaking community will be focused on modelling, since it's my skills domain. For french people, I'll post basic articles (where can I find material, rules and positions basics, etc...).

I can tell to the coaches who are hesitating to contribute that is very easy (as easy as posting stuff on the forum), no web technical skills needed at all. And you'll see it's very rewarding.

As a newbie coach, I would be glad to see tweaking and strategy articles. It is really the hardest thing to know to enter this hobby.

Dimitri
