Rule Proposal for Dixie
I don't know how or when you decide on rules and changes, but here is one rule that I would like to see added regarding handoffs.
Handoffs may occur anywhere within a base perimeter of the QB. I've been watching and studying where handoffs are occurring, and many seem to be "inside" handoffs and in front of the QB. This seems to be especially true on counters, draw plays and spread formations. |

Rules and changes are made at the last Dixie league meeting with all that were there voting. If you are not there or stay until the end, then you will not have a say or voice a change you may want to see.
Now Im speaking for Beenutt here and he may want to chime in on this. The rules were determined and we will play according to what we all voted on and no changes will be made until we meet again and vote. This league is for the people in it and that is why Bryan lets everyone vote and goes with the majority. You may not like all the rules as I for one dont. But at least we have the opportunity to decide here. I know its frustrating if you have your offense or defense designed for a certain way of playing. You sometimes just have to get a little more creative or sometimes just keep it simple. Just my opinion here. I know some of you are probably saying ( yea keep it to yourself) Joel

I stayed to the end last year. What did we vote on?? Did everything stay the same? I just can't remember.

rule changes
I don't think that we voted on any new rules for 2010. I remember asking for any comments and I think that everyone was pleased with the current rules. We can vote again when we meet in 2010.
