Default Convention

Just wanted to give a "shout out" to a couple guys I met this weekend at Miggle -

Franny-J-Boy - a helluva lot of excitement about the game. I talked to this cat and walked around room to room with him watching his fellow league mates play, and he was more excited than the coaches who were playing.

FOTH, Pretty Boy or whatever the hell his name is this week - a super nice guy with a great "aura" about him - laughing all the time. Even when it was freezing out and his roomates had the window open. Never seen a guy in sweatpants and a fur coat before that. And dude, quit following me.

DeWayne Jennings - one of the nicest guys I ever met. Came to our room to sell a couple figures and stayed and BSed for quite a while. Very helpful and informative.

I also enjoyed meeting 5:13 studios (Chris?), 46 defense, Michigan Joe, Culp and bluegnouy, Ron Bell, and all the other guys I forget the names of. I also learned that Simmie hates Ohio State. I think they should have put all the Michigan teams in the same conference. Atleast that way, the Wolverines could have won SOMETHING this year.

It was good to meet you too, Tomkat. Don't mistake concentration for non-enthusiasm, I was really into the game. It's just tough to find reasons to celebrate when I'm getting my butt kicked!
cheers!

Default Glad you got a chance to visit rm 409

Was our room freezing or what!??? LOL

That Frank Jacobs must have one high AC bill! We kept the window open the whole weekend. I had to put my coat on just to chill in the bedroom.

I guess that did look funny a guy with a coat and sweatpants on inside the room. But it was Nat'l so it's all good.

Default Convention was a blast

First off I want to thank all of the coaches who took the time out to play electric football with my son Aric(Lil AJ)...he was so excited about the convention and just him being there to experience it was enough for me. My son is really shy at 4 years old and doesnt talk to strangers....but he felt so at home with you guys that he was walking up to people he didnt know asking them to play a game. During the dinner he even stood up so he could say his name..that really touched me....Since Christmas he has only wanted to play his new electric football board...the kid is hooked.....guys thank you thank thank you...
Now...big AJ has a new energy for the game. I want to play with my son and teach him, not just let him play. Seeing my old friends that I have known since 1997 was really a nice feeling. You guys are like my brothers...this is like a family reunion...ive seen some of your kids grow up and go off to college...some born and now 6 and 7 years old...time just flies by when youre having fun.

I could go on and on and write a book about all of my experiences...

So I will end here and I look forward to playing more..I cant travel like I used to but maybe I'll get something started in the Illinois are with these guys and I know Jim Davis wants to get something going again to...so who knows.....

Take care guys!

AJ

Thumbs up

Hey...I was the coach he walked up to and asked me to play. I loved his enthusiasm. I can see where you've been working with him. Tell the little fella he got lucky and I want a rematch!
