"Gremlin" Boards cont...
Some of the initial inspiration for the boards.
LA Coliseum. Made to look like a heavily played on field. The bullet shape was intentional, the end zone with the bleachers would have added about a foot and a half to the board. Not only impossible to transport, bu twould be really hard to play on. Old Tulane Stadium The original home of the New Orleans Saints. This was a tough one, not much photo documentation of this old stadium. Luckily, my dad saw a game there in the late 60's between the Saints and the Browns, so he was able to offer some guidance on the look of the field. The graphics on the field were taken from youtube clips of some early Saints games. Houston Astrodome I was surprised at how little overhead photo documentation that I was able to find on this. I managed a couple of good shots, though. Oakland-Alameda County Stadium One of my favorites to date. Love the baseball diamond.

Post is just.....
..... too good.
In my opinion is the single best post on the board since it started. Look at a the great pics and boards. Awesome. It needs to have its own site or facebook page or something.

I agree. Especially for my own board More seriously, I like the side "trays" Chris do on his boards. It's fully playable (giving the opportunity to place the sideline players) and also good looking, giving a nice realistic touch (with the satellite views, now I understand the shape of the boards).
