Up to the minute Computer Rankings:

03 2-1-0 235 Florida Gators (up 1 spot)

t5 2-1-0 210 Illinois Fighting Illini (down 2 spots)
t5 2-1-0 210 Oklahoma Sooners
07 1-0-2 195 BYU Cougars (down 1 spot)
08 1-1-1 170 Texas Longhorns

14 0-3-0 004 Michigan Wolverines

This will be updated after each game. The AP Poll will come out at the conclusion of each week.

Big jump for Nebraska after a win over a quality opponent. Margin of victory doesn't matter in these rankings, so the fact that they only won by 3 at the buzzer isn't a factor. Just win, baby.

Yeah, I was pleased to see Nebraska get such a big bump from beating Illinois.

Virginia could get the same if they manage to beat Purdue in the final game for Week 3, not to mention the winner of that game will tie Syracuse for the Eastern Conference lead.

My predictiction for Championship

Syracuse and surprise Longhorns who win season to make it to championship only to see Orange explode for best night of the season. Syracuse wins.

Nice. So Walt is on record for a Syracuse-Texas matchup in Commonwealth Bowl II.

Who do the rest of you got?

For now, I'm still thinking that CB2 will be a rematch between Syracuse and Oklahoma. The Orangemen just seem to do what it takes to win, and Oklahoma at times has had a running game led by DeMarco Murray that no one can (except Syracuse) can deal with.

Syracuse won the first meeting between the teams in Week 1, 23-9.
