When I left last night
It was Keith vs Lomax in one game....not sure of the outcome tho?
I think Creasy is still alive in the loser's bracket. I'm at the hotel right now. Me and Joe G. were having breakfast in the lobby. We are friends now, but on the 30th it might not be so friendly! In the MFCA skills events we had a couple of perfect scores!!! Darrain Ross posted a 300 in the passing (he was the 1st guy up too!) They were all solid hits. I didn't know Mr. Ross could sling it like that! In the speed challenge, it was the Grand Master Karim. His guy made runs of 19 1/4 & 19 3/8 to home the medal! However, Creasy had a player run 20 inches, but the scores are combined to determine the winner. And in the kicking, it was Brian Healey again posting a perfect 300. We may need to re-name this event the Healey contest. Since Brian already won the Northeast region challenge....2nd place contestant Keith Chalmers (260) will be eligible in Canton to compete. I will try to find out who is still alive in the tourney as I'm on my way back there. Nat'l

It's over!!!!!!
Kelvin Lomax 21 Keith Chalmers 14.
When it comes to masters of a certain rule set, you have to throw Lomax's name into the mix for BEFL style. Burgess - MPFL Mike Robertson - DFW Lomax - BEFL He just finished a undefeated season in the BEFL to 3-peat, now he goes undefeated in this years BASH!!! I had a great time. I want to congratulate all the skills winners. I'm sure everyone had a great time. Look out for Creasy, for a guy just getting back in the hobby...he was steppin'!!!! It was a long, fun weekend...now I have to take a nap!!!!! the F.O.T.H. is Nat'l 6/13/09 Will you be there?

Bash
Looks like a great time...sorry I missed it this year.
K-Lo, congrats! I hope guys were around taking notes during the game with you and Chalmers as I'm sure a coaching clinic was being held between two of the games tacticians. CorEy...why do you keep playing Rock Paper Scissors...doesn't look like Glenn wants to play with you! |

A great Finish!
Wow, what a weekend!!! Thanks to all that came and put on a great show.
Yes, it's official, Coach K-LO is the winner of the 2009 Bash!!! Congrats to Big Keith for making it back around to get back into the Championship game. Final score 20-14 .... Thanks to BEFL family; The Philly-NJ family; Kevin Thower, Cressy and his son (another of the new and up and coming kids); Karim, Morgan, Joe G.; George D; John Wright; Lady J; and Mr. Kirk her grandson. Special Thanks to Corey aka National aka F.O.T.H for helping collect the info and posting up early in the action before the net went down. I will have more to come from this weekend with more pictures (they need to be downsized first) and other commentary a little later today. There will be a story in upcoming Tweak edition..... K-LO |
