Default Glefl Playoffs

raiders 21 Steelers 7

Behind B. Roethlisberger The Steelers Went 12 And 2 (6 And 1 At Home) In The Regular Season, But It Was Roethlisberger That Cost The Steelers This Game , He (greg H.) Missed A Wide Open Wr
(that Would Have Scored) On 3rd And Long , And On A 3rd And Long
He Hit A Open Te That Would Have Scored (but He Knocked Him Over )
So It Was Not A Good Day For Roethlisberger And He Was Also Sacked 6 Times. IT WAS A LOT CLOSER THAN THE SCORE SHOWS(it Was Greg 4th Straight Trip To The Afc Finals ,great Job Greg).

For The Oakland Raiders It Was Business As Usual With The Running Game ,on Just 9 Att. # 34 L. Jordan Ran For 116 Yards And 1 Td And He Had 1 Reception For A 10 Yard Td, Also Qb # 12 K. Stabler Ran The Ball For 49 Yards And 1 Td,
The Raiders Defense Was Very Good Again Keeping The Steelers On 3rd And Long All Day,the Raiders Defense Had 6 Sacks And A Bunch Of Hurries, (it's Jim Davis 1st Trip To The Greatlakes Efl Superbowl)

Default Big Shout Out to My Boy Jim Davis

Want to give a big shout out to My Boy Jim Davis. Jim and I had spoken about 3 months ago about the GLEFL and things which may have caused him not to play. One of those things were how games were set up where he could not take a minute to sit and rest. Jim's one of the legends of the game who I know have been on that "national promotions" bandwagon since I met him back in Chicago in 1996.

I remember talking with Jim at the Miggle Convention when him and my dear friend, the late-Jon Thomas, scrimmaged and where having at it. I remember this man was someone in the game, who although we did not talk every week, had my back.

Jim has always been one of the biggest supporters of Footballfigures.com, buying thousands of figures over the years.

Always willing to go wherever he could to promote the hobby, there was no doubt when one of my good friends in the hobby such as him had an opportunity to play for a title, the least I could do was offer up props to him and all that he has endured FOR the game of electric football.

Also, a big congratulations to Simmie Lassiter. Although I don't know you personally, I have heard many great things about you. I know you're a good guy and one heckuva coach. I wish you well on your road to achieving greatness in the GLEFL.
