what type of superglue did you use? i typically use flash medium, found in hobby stores around here.
when i first got my set of figures, after last year's seawall brawl ('07), they had been sitting in brake fluid for a while (apparently). all of the glue was dissolved at the joints, but very little paint was removed. when trying to glue the arms and legs back together, after cleaning off the brake fluid, i would have a bond initially, but the bond would break rather easily. i tried cutting down to get to the actual plastic, and yes, i tried scuffing for a mechanical bond. most attempts didn't last. so, now, the ones that i have on my team, i must be very careful with or they will lose an arm or release from their platform.
