I see your point, but I have to stand firm on the glossy finish. These are miniature figurines and I still feel that the glossy look is much more attractive overall than the dull finish look.

Model Master Acryls work just fine for me. One or two coats of color and then 2 coats of MM Clear Semi-Gloss. I use 3/0 brushes and have separate brushes for dark colors, light colors, white and clear gloss. As you can see, I like my teams to sparkle from head to toe!

Default skin tones around the neck (what do o guy's do) very little room

coaches,

In regard to the skin tones around the neck, especially the back, what do you guy's use ? Their is very little room back their. do you paint a small snippet of the back of the helmet ?

D-mass/ you are right, the glossy look seems to look and work out much better ! head to toe. Also the outdoor gloss you recomended, it also comes in matte, have you ever tried that ?

Thanx for the info !!!!!!!!!!

The neck line in the back is very tricky but i want to get it right, does everyone go with the v-neck jersey's ?

broadway-dre

D-mass/ ARE YOU COMING TO THE SEA WALL BRAWL ? I HOPE YOU ARE, THEIR IS A HOST OF PEOPLE LOOKING FOWARD TO FINALLY MEETING YOU !

Hopefully with product in hand (lol) Let us know !

ATT JIMBO, That's a nice set of teams you got their !!!!!!!!!!!

Default Nice work Jimbo

Nice work Jimbo...

Thanks for the insight guys. I will have to try some of those methods on some teams coming off the line.

I currently use Heirloom Poly gloss. Hardware stores have it.... I seal a player with 2 passes...

Thumbs up smoother finish

Ive recently thrown out oils except testors flat white, & flat black i use acrylics faster dry time, better range of colors, ease of use. Just add a touch of acrylic floor wax such as future instead of water lays down nicely.Always think 2 coats for coverage never try to go opaque in 1 coat u have to lay it to heavy creating puddles. i prime my players with flat white spray paint this gives u a surface for the paint to hold helps prevent chipping. good luck homey peace.

Default Bucs

I mixed my own awhile ago B4 we discovered Model Master's Jet Exhaust, but it dried up, and everyone that used JE just didn't seem to match, so I intended to see what needed to be added to get the perfect "pewter." It actually just needed 3 coats to make it darken up! Thanks for lookin'!

Wink Removing the bubbles under a clear coat

Coaches this is a 911 call K-Lo I know you can help me. I needed to add a little weight to my squad who went to the NHFL playoffs last year underweight, but we represented all year.

case and point, I coated my team with poly gloss spray, they gained weight and some gained air bubble pockets. I got to about 14 players and noticed tiny air bubbles. I need my skin tones re-touched that may hide some of the bubbles, but are there any solutions to this problem?

My budget is tight but I would be willing to reimburse any Coach that would welcome my team into their home for a touch up. Please hit me with a PM or grandmasterkc@hotmail.com 908-239-1172

Life as a returner to this hobby of ours has it's challenges. Spent a pretty penny on the squad so I want them looking touch but nice.

PLMK
