Is warhammer paints easy to work with?? There is a hobby shop down the street that sell those paints....

I have seen these figures in person . They look very nice in the pics , but in person they look like real people. Chris has scuplted the faces , eyes, mouth, and nose are all detailed . Now if I can just have him make me up a team. Don't worry , I will paint them.

i have used a lot of different paints while painting miniatures, and i like the performance of the games workshop paints the best. they flow unbelievably smooth and dry very fast, enabling me to put in more details. the only drawback is price. everything that games workshop sells is way too expensive. but, for me, performance matters more than anything.

I don't know. I painted 1 and it does not pop. Maybe the Oilers , Dolphins or Vikings. pm me on what colors to use painting the 73 Dolphins and 70's Oilers.

Thanks for the reply. I will still walk on down. Do you use their flesh tone paints? If so, how many shades of brown do you use??

for light skin tones i use either elf flesh, dwarf flesh or brozed flesh with flesh wash ink for shadows and skull white dry-brushed for highlites. dark tones i use either graveyard earth, dark skin or scorched earth with a dark brown ink (not games workshop) or black ink for shadows and i'll mix white with my base color for highlites.
