Unhappy Sorry to hear the bad news...

I am truely sorry to hear the sad news...it is sad when we lose our pets...for some people...including myself...they are like family members. Take heed in knowing that you enjoyed her spirit of her company and that pets never die as long as one has memories...God Bless you...

I am so sad to hear of your loss. We had to put our 19 year old australian cattle dog down 2 days before Christmas and I still have tears well up when I think of him. They become a part of your family and we are blessed to know them and have them in our hearts. My prayers and thoughts to you and your family. God bless.

Default Sorry to hear that man

We just had to put our dog down about a month ago. He was the only dog my kids knew for all of their lives. You never really realize how much a huge part of the family they are until they are no longer there. Fortunately you have others to help you get through. Take care.

Default Frank My Condolences to You and Your Wife

A Dog's Prayer
Treat me kindly, my beloved master, for no heart in all the world is more grateful for kindness than the loving heart of me.

Do not break my spirit with a stick, for though I should lick your hand between the blows, your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me the things you would have me do.

Speak to me often, for your voice is the world's sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when your footstep falls upon my waiting ear.

When it is cold and wet, please take me inside... for I am now a domesticated animal, no longer used to bitter elements... and I ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth... though had you no home, I would rather follow you through ice and snow than rest upon the softest pillow in the warmest home in all the land... for you are my god... and I am your devoted worshiper.

Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for although I should not reproach you were it dry, I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst. Feed me clean food, that I may stay well, to romp and play and do your bidding, to walk by your side, and stand ready, willing and able to protect you with my life, should your life be in danger.

And, beloved master, should the Great Master see fit to deprive me of my health or sight, do not turn me away from you. Rather hold me gently in your arms as skilled hands grant me the merciful boon of eternal rest...and I will leave you knowing with the last breath I drew, my fate was ever safest in your hands.

Default Mans best friend

Its' tough losing a friend but even tougher losing the friend who gives 100% unconditional love till they leave this earth.Their time here is short and having a good home is everything to them, you did that, so shed a tear but take heart in the fact you made that short time on earth the best it could be, your friend knew that and that's why he loved you

Default WoW!!!!

I just want to say to all of you a huge thank you for all the support and prayers. Everything you all have said really makes a lot of sence and helps more than you can ever know. Champagne had the most personality I have ever seen from our dogs. She would actually get up on her hind leds and wave her front two arms/legs back and forth until she got the treat she desired. My wife would buy a bag of Dingos (about 6 to a pack) and before the night was over Champagne would have gotten all of them from Donna. If we would tell her "no" she would go into a ramp and make a huge fuss until she got her way. Those are the things that made her special and she had us wrapped by her paw the minute we saw her. We still have the mother (Ling)and her two brothers Razz and Bear. There will never be another Champy, but I told her that she better be there to kiss me when it's my turn to go. God bless all of you and thanks for taking care of your pets and treating them like family members. They give back so much more than they ever take. That's what makes losing them that much harder.
