Default Yo Doug,

I know you! You better be happy Geno's my podna! I just watched Self do a bad job of coaching to lose to lowly Baylor. So, I get a little satisfaction.

All kidding aside, Self did outcoach Calipari. The big guy you are referring to is Joey Dorsey. I think if Memphis State would have hit its free throws in regulation, it would be a moot point. However, I think the Tigers did freeze up after that and Calipari could not get them back on track. Self did an outstanding jobs with his star players and when Collins hit the long 3, it sealed the Tigers fate.

But I hope they do get a chance to see each other again in the NCAAs because this would become a great rivalry for college ball.

Always feel that you can come on here and jump to Cousin Mageno's honor! We like to harrass each other. I wish you could come to OKC and come to his honor in June!

Default Was it bad??

Maybe there is a method to his madness. Let's see, does Kansas have to play 3 more hard games in the tournament for nothing (already have a NCAA ticket clinched) or do they get to rest for the rest of the week?? Hmmn, sometimes losses are not what they seem to be. When are you guys going to do your thing in OKC? I just might be in the area. Doug

Default Doug, I agree to...

an extent.

Sometimes, with a program like Kansas, it wakes the "sleeping giant" up and being able to rest up may be a great advantage for them. After watching 6 overtimes of Syracuse and UCONN, UCONN might be better served because again, this will be a top seed and the tourney is really meaningless unless you are trying to play your way in.

I just talked with Cousin Mageno about 2 hours ago. We are pushing it back because of previous commitments in the month of June. We are shooting for the second weekend in July instead. Look at your schedule and see if you can get back to the Tornado Alley and hang out with us.

I don't know you but I feel like I do and we can sit around and bust each other chops and argue about who's better, Kansas, Memphis, or Tennessee.
