Default EF Room

Got started building some furniture yesterday. Here are pics of the work station desk built and before staining and after staining. Stain is Golden Oak. Hope to get it installed tomorrow. It will have a 3 shelf hutch on it and bookcases on each side. Also think I am going to paint walls columbia blue for the Oilers and Titans. Also want to work in UT Vols orange on at least one wall.

Thanks,

Default REMEMBER THIS...

I would hang all those relics on the walls and make yourself a custom big board about 3' x 6' smack dab in the middle with great lighting and about 10 stadiums all around!!! Oh yeah, and this on your field...

OK Jimbo, I like the field cover. Don't get rid of the artwork!!! Will have to see how expenses are going. I have thought about selling the "relics" to fund this project.

Here are more pics. Corner work station desk in place, but typical designer mistake. Didn't allow for electrical outlet. Kind of thing that we cuss designers for in my line of work. Simple solution though. Just make a cut out for it. It is all going to be covered by book case/display case any way.

Got the hutch for the desk built. Still need to trim out and stain. Have had the last two days off from work so I am trying to get as much done as possible. I have to go out of town Sunday afternoon for work and won't be back for 3-4 weeks. That will give me some time to work on drawings and plans, though. Again thanks for all the comments.

Chris, use a "Lazy Susan" somewhere for your paints, bases, etc.

Here are the two walls painted Titan blue, the corner workstation installed and solution to the plug issue. Next phase will be bookcases on each side of the workstation.

Thanks,
Chris
