![]() I'm going to date myself here. When I was a kid my favorite team was (and still is) the NY Giants. In those days they were very, very bad.
My favorite player was Homer Jones the WR who many believe was the first to spike the football after scoring a TD. Also I have to give a shout out to Kicker Pete Gogolak who came up with the Buffalo Bills and then was later signed by the NY Giants. He was the first soccer style kicker in the NFL. |

![]() Like mine. Anybody ever hear of Noah Jackson? Good guy, truly a BEAR of a man - compared to a 13 year old - but a good guy. Lost his autograph in a fire and that prolly meant more than OJ's Rookie (before "If it doesn't fit, you MUST acquit!") ![]() |

![]() Holy cr*p I've gotta make that Barry Sanders pose with my FF figures! He's my all time favorite BY FAR and that is a sweet action shot!
Now, as to no-name favorite pro players, I'll go with Bobby Morse. For any Michigan State fans you may remember him as an excellent side kick for Lorenzo White, and he went on to become his fullback during Lorenzo's magical senior year. He also returned a punt for a TD against my beloved Wolverines. In the Pros he had a very short careeer where he touched the ball only a handful of times, but it was highlighted by a kickoff return TD for the Saints against who else, the Lions (my favorite Pro team growing up). Bobby Morse grew up in my home town of Muskegon Michigan, went to my alma mater high school (Muskegon Catholic Central) were he lead the high school team to multiple state titles and he comes from a family who is very giving back to the community.
