Thanks guys for the warm welcome.WeirdWolf kinda
"made me an offer I couldn't refuse"........LOL
I'd like to say a few things and then I'll shut-up.
First,as many of you know,I have taken care of my dad
the last few years.No complaints.Not always easy,but
no complaints.I "owed" him that much, plus much more.
But now that he's gone, I'm going to have a void in my life and hopefully
it can be filled by getting back into electricfootball.I know
this hobby,or any hobby for that matter, can't replace a loss
of this nature, but it can help.I'm looking forward to getting
back into the swing of things. Thanks for welcoming me
back.
Secondly,I'd like address the couple of issues I had for
not becoming a member/and leaving the site for awhile.
There were/are a couple of people that I just couldn't
agree with on their ideas, agendas, what have you.I put TOO
much emphasis on the negative. It grew into a monster that
I let control me,when I should have been in control.Hey,I'm
not perfect.I make plenty of mistakes and bone-head choices.
I won't name names as that would probably only cause more
issues/problems.What I will say is that I plan on contacting
these people, soon, and hopefully resolving any issues that
were there. But until then I want to publicly apologize to anyone
that I may have offended and or talked "bad" about. One thing
that has really hit home with my dads passing is that life is short
and we really shouldn't dwell on the "stupid-stuff".We need to
live & enjoy life, family and especially friends.
I will offer my apologies ,personally, to these folks with hopes of
healing and wounds that I,or they may have caused. And believe
me,I'm sure I inflicted some of the wounds. We live and learn.
Thanks for letting me "bend" your ears. There really is a good bunch of
people in this hobby and it's been my pleasure to meet you and
deal with you, whether at a tournament/convention or painting teams,
or making some kind of field-gear for you.Thank you.

SEMPER FI,
Chris Stacey
Hampton,Va.
