Default Franko

Just getting back into town, had no internet access at the in-laws, man those Dawgs are sweet my friend. It takes me back in time when the Browns had it going on both sides of the ball. Stifling defense and an offense that could put points on the board. One correction I'll make, these are the 1986 Browns, not the "84" team. Some notable changes to the team in "86", Kosar's & Mack's second year (drafted in "85"). Offense was 5th in the league vs. 25th in "84". But what do you expect from an Oilers fan , those two teams sure had some games back in the day.
Thanks again Frank, awesome job.

That is a very nice looking team. The added details really bring them to life. I also like how you made several different types/brands of figures work together, it gives good variety to the poses. I have said it before, but your sculpting of the sleeves really make them dynamic.

Default Thanks for the props

I really appreciate the nice words guys. I absolutely cut out some of the platforms so the players could make weight so nice catch on that Frenchie . All these players were made out of Reggie figures, buzzball figures, 67 bigmen/haiti repro figures, and Jennings figures. The decals of the Browns were the precut from Beenutt, and the odds and ends such as flags, adidas logos, and flags were from Reggie; and jennings on the shoe decals. If anyone has not tried the precut decals I can't tell you enough how much easier, quicker, and better they are than cutting around each and every decal. Plus, they are better made decals.
P.S. I meant to say 1986 Cleveland Browns so if wolf or any moderator reads this could you please change the first heading post to 1986. John was right, we Oiler's fans don't really know much of anything back in 1986. We sucked during those years so I pretty much hated football at the time.

Default Unbelievable

I've been off the board for a while and I haven't been in the hobby for a short time (has it really been almost 3 years? ? ? )...but man o' man, the talent up in here is off the charts! Man those Browns are the snappiest team I've ever seen. Holy Moly! The REAL team don't look this good!

Default Way to nice for John

Awesome job, Frank! it is really interesting how you took the various types of figures and blended them into one team that looks so good. The O-line looks imposing and D-line looks just darn big......Hey, John when you get these in hand I gotta see 'em.

What's up my friend, been a while, hope all is well. I DO have the team in my possession. I will be working on basing them up over the next few weeks or so. Once I'm finished maybe we can get a scrimmage going. Any chance of you dropping in at Miggle?
