Here's the last steps I made on the figs. For now, I corrected shape defects, resculpt feet and chests. TOnight, I'll sculpt the arms muscles.

Default Her Doctor Frankeinsteroid has done his job

Here's the pics of the figs ! Tommorow I'll undercoat them.

My running back reminds me one real powerfull guy I've seen on a NFL game vid (can't remember the name...I'm french), running with a defense player on his back trying to tackle him

Adrian Peterson?... Brandon Jacobs?... Maurice Jones-Drew? Most likely Brandon Jacobs.

Maybe it's Adrian Peterson, since I didn't see any game that season of the other teams

Anyway, it's a strong running back

Default undercoating

Hi,

Today I make the undercoat of my figs. Tommorow, I'll sand the defects and start painting

I like the pose of my running back...I almost should give him a battle axe and a shield

Default Do a search on Earl Campbell

Dimitri,

you want to see a powerful running back.....it's get no better than the Tyler Rose!!!!!!! The most powerful back of All-Time.
Jim Brown might of been a hair better, but my vote goes to Earl!!!

Nice Fig, can't wait til you get him painted up!!!

I tried to enter "tyler rose" on google images...we can see the running back...but we can see other interesting things

apparently tyler rose is a female swimwear brand too

anyway, making classic teams and athletes is on my "to do list", but first I have to finish these ones, the couple of bucs too, and the steelers 4.0grams (in fact, 4.0 for skill players, 4.2grams for the linemen) 2009 team. Then, we'll see.

I would try to customize other brands of fig, especially the smallest miggle/tudor ones, to make a 3.0 gaming class (perhaps a college range ?) with a little less muscles

Default first painting stage

Hi,

this evening I started the painting of my figs. It should be quite quick to do. I'm testing new skin tones, in the same time.

The figures will represent real Niners secondary players (rb and wr).

Default first coat of red

I'll make 2 or 3 thin coats of red. Once I'll do all the basic coating, I'll make the shades and highlight effects.

Hi,

Today I painted the skin tone, eyes, and made the last coats and effects on the pants and jersey.

Tonight, I'll make the stripes, and certainly work on the helmets.

You can notice the x-acto sculpted faces. A good way to improve MF figures, faster and easier than putty sculpting. Once you add facemasks and chinstraps, the overall result is almost as good.
