By the way, speaking of field accessories, I'm working on a how to article. My first thought was to present it on mfca.org, but I believe it should be a good candidate for tweak magazine.

10yard chain
yards marker
end zone marker
down marker

with a graphic template you can print (tweak pdf version) or cut (tweak paper version).

Once it will be done, perhaps MFCA could want to use it for standard field accessories, perhaps.

I'm also working on new 3d ball markers (passing simulation) and stationnary accessory wich will allow a coach to keep a figure in one place without any special base. these tutorials will be available on MFCA.org.

On the ruleset I'm working on, I will allow 2 stationnary accessories on each side.

Default THIS SOUNDS GOOD

COACHES,

tHIS ALL WILL BE GREAT FOR THE mfca AS A WHOLE. PERHAPS SUCH A RULE SET WILL BRING COACHES LIKE BIG KEITH and many others back to conventions and tourney formats. I already see coaches rather play closer to rules they already know. This combination will give them everything.

Im curious, what is the simplist way to do KICKOFF AND PUNTS.

mY Method is forget the hangtime, i run it like a regular play. With the average, i have the return man always at the 2 yard line. kicking team at the 40 the return team at the 20. receiving side of the 50. The premise is can the return man get to the 20 and can the kick team tackle him before the 20.
It is like he already caught the ball and is running for the return when the board come on. he may break free for a nice return past the 20. he get get tackled before he gets to the 20.
THIS IS JUST A SIMPLE WAY I LIKE TO DO KICKOFFS.

**better yet, the return man is placed on the goal line. This way the kicking team has 20 yards to travel for the tackle. The return man has 20 yards to travel to reach the 20 or beyond. he may break one past the 20. Once he gets 10 yards past the 20. board is stopped and the return team are angled for the chase and tackle. very simple for me. cut out the middle man !

Default eventual tourney

coaches,

can a tourney with a universal ruleset make its way to the b-more, dc or virginia area. Some great tourney administrators are looking to come out of retirement and run a show agiain. long overdue !!!!! virginia beach area.
fun for family and friends. it would be nice to see the band back together.

Some future doings are on the horizon. GOTTA GET THIS RULESET FIRST.
