I applaud what you guys are doing, I know how much you and Erick T. love the game, it is refreshing and exciting to see a new rules set in the West. Options are always nice to have.

BUT THIS VEGAS LEAGUE NEEDS IT'S OWN IDENTITY AND WE WANT OUR LEAGUE A LITTLE DIFFERENT BUT VERY FUN ALSO JUST LIKE YOUR LEAGUE. SOME OF YOUR RULES ARE IN THERE ALSO. Well the cats out the bag so I matter as well speak about whats going on. A New Professional Football League is being formed in Vegas called the NMEFL, The sole purpose is to create a new Miniature Football atmosphere based solely on my experiences playing. There is a mixture of everything from East Coast to West Coast as well as shootout because there is good in all but the main purpose is to keep it as professional as we can on the field but more importantly off! Paid refs.... I see this as the most important thing because I would like to see games played by the rule set in placed not we will make the call in the 4th quarter when it matters or someone comes from across the room out of nowhere and make a call. (Rules are rules) The brotherhood and friendship is missing terribly and we shouldn't be like this, It's Christmas and I see people blasting one another on a National level on this forum... come on man lets grow up and enjoy what we have for the time we have it. FOB tackling, ATT on pass, no punt rule, no "frankenstein bases", no field goal rule, paid refs, no handicap passing rule, mandatory rosters, one man one base one stat, QB scramble as much as you want, box will be in place but toned down so it won't have such a part in games as it does. These rules will make you a better coach, if you make bad coaching decisions you will lose by 50 by the way there are fines for not finishing games, unsportsmanlike conduct, cheating and being late or no call no shows (league rules). The Tournament will be held April 15th-17th at the Platinum Hotel and I would urge you gentleman to bring your families if you can the wives more than anything and lets enjoy our Hobby and our family and start with new attitudes going forward. The NMEFL league will take place the following september with the Championship game being played at the following tournament weekend in 2012. I spoke with Steve Martin last night. He and I are already making arrangements to support this tournament. There are a few great people, who happen to be coaches, who will definitely be interested in this tournament as well.

I know I may have to bring my family or it's going to be forfeit after forfeit!

Biggie, don't mean to rain on your parade, but there's already a NMEFL, North Michigan Electric Football League that Brian Witkopp has been using for several years now. I also believe someone is using NMEFL as the National Miniature Electric Football League. Having 3 NMEFL's will get confusing....
