Default Stadium magic!!

I wanted to make a play on "Raymond James" but the bids were quickly put out of my price range. I assume whoever sold it did so out of financial necessity as these stadiums are a work of art and as so artfully and correctly put, the pinnacle of miniature football experience. The final bid and the effort took to pick it is really a testament to its value and the creativity and skill of its builder.

Stadiums bring an excitement to the game and a location.. Let's face it, all college and pro games are played before several hundred fans. Playing without one is like playing on a practice field. In league play, however, they do create some challenges. If you play at a neutral location, like a sports bar or bowling alley, you have the set-up time and have to bring in all that stuff. Many coaches will not reach around or over obstructions to make passes and adjustments. It would be nice to play in a league were they are used to playing in them, as this would really be an added element to the game.

Over the past few years I have set up a stadium for our league Superbowl, parts of which were pushed back away from the field to give coaches and refs. access to the field. Last year's version featured a sideline sports desk, lighted vending machines and a jumbo tron! We played music videos during half time and in-between plays. It was pretty cool. I will be displaying these accessories at the Miggle Convention. This year I hope to improve the facilities and link the video camera to Jimbo tron real time coverage.
