![]() Shabby, don't worry, it can only be used in NCAA on 3rd and very long situations. I'm curious as to the specific verbage the NCAA uses vs. the HS level to prevent this.
I wouldn't be so harsh, it was a brilliant way to overcome bigger, stronger teams ala App. St. vs. Michigan or even boiled bases vs. out of the bag. Yeah, I went there! ![]() ![]() After doing some HEAVY research on the topic, I found another source that's not affiliated with the purchase of the system. http://swsentinel.blogspot.com/2007/...1-offense.html Last edited by JIMBO : 07-27-2008 at 07:52 PM. |

![]() Jimbo, I guess I am too "old school" to wrap my mind around this. I do respect your opinion though and thanks for the caveat about the "boiled Base" comment.
That seems to be a a topic that brings a knee jerk reaction from a lot of people. Let's not go there on this post please, I agree.

![]() Here's another example: untweaked, out of the bag standard rookies vs. tweaked TTCs.
It is a hard concept to fathom. Even the Refs are yelling "heresy!" I'm only on post #30, but they are raising Cain over the subject. ![]() |

![]() LSU back in the mid to late 70''s ran an offense featuring 2 QBs in the
backfield. The only difference one of the QBs would lineup under center the other at a tailback position whether in a full house backfield or two man set. Off the pitch or handoff the other QB has the option to run or pass. If you ran a veer the QB if he kept the ball could take a step past where the FB ran through the line then follow the FB. It forces the defense to cover more ground and less aggressive. ![]() |
