Thumbs up Excellent

Way to keep promoting the hobby. You guys have to get an interview with Jim Rome - or better yet get on his TV show.

Default Thanx 4 tha props & encouragement fellas!

Thanx Marty...just saw your post. I will hit you this evening. Will be preping team for the TV spot (have not touched them since last year's spot), so give me a call (323/290-3434) if I don't call you.

Artlax,
We have tried contacting Rome several times. He has joked about the game on his show, but has not really shown any interest. Most would not embrace Rome's opinion of EF/MF due to it being the same as most who played as kids...you know...men running around in circles and falling down. Also, you know Rome...all 5'3" of him...can come off as acting TC (TOO COOL) at times.
I think we will eventually gain his interest, but it has to be done in a way whereas we peak his interest.

Default jim rome ....we are better off without....

I can't stand him, ........I love the time when Jim Everett flattened him on his own stage, ......... rome kept calling Everett "Chris" and "Chrissy" after the female tennis player, ................ purposely being disrespectful,...........and Everett asked him to stop, ...........then warned him to stop or "else",............ Smart ****** rome picked the "else", .............and got what was coming to him..... check it out on youtube.....

My uncle showed me that on You tube and it is pretty funny.
I watch it every so often.

Default Do You LAEFL

If Jim Rome doesn’t want to get with what you guys are doing in the LAEFL, don’t worry about it. What you guys do out there is tremendous. The LAEFL has a good show. As a result of that, the LAEFL doesn’t have to lick anyone’s boots to be recognized.

James Brown formerly of Fox Sports has an office in Gaithersburg, MD. I can drive to his location is 45 minutes. I sent one of my videos to him when he was at Fox. He and Terry Bradshaw mocked me. This happened the week after Katrina hit New Orleans. I sent the video a month before Katrina. I received no answer. It is 2008 and I’m still waiting for an answer. I don’t care about TV time. I just want the man to acknowledge receiving my work by simply saying, “Thank you.”

Maurice

Default Great job LAEFL!

I have always admired you guys from afar. As far as the naysayers are concerned I say keep doing what you do. Remember, "Build it and they will come".

To hell with Rome, the man we need to hit up is Vick the Brick and maybe Joe Grande.

They are local and do live remote broadcasts from many different places and I think would be great for us.

Spoke with Vick the Pr@*k as well...he is all hot air. The whole thing is an act...YIKES...FEELIN U...he may be the biggest phony on two feet. Haven't met Joe Grande yet. I do enjoy Rome's show (radio), and have nothing against him or the guy (Marty) he rides on the back of his scooter while wearing matching sweat suits (show reference) lol. You know how show biz is...it takes a while for them to catch on. We just have to keep doing what we're doing and eventually EF/MF will catch a break...then all of the punks mentioned above will be on the band wagon.
