Default A final word

To all who donated to the MIami Youth EF/MF club, please know that what you gave is strictly for the kids every piece of equipment is for them nothing from what they have is part of my personal collection, and the club is the only avenue that im interested in and the CBSMF in 09 as far as playing the game is concerned. I never thought it would be hard to put the hobby aside but it is, but one thing I will say, what happened to me can happen to anyone, La, dallas, detroit, Maryland, ny and everywhere else stay up keep the interest high, that being said the hobby only tends to go travel to other hot areas and thats cool and all, but think of your brothers who may not be as lucky to have good numbers of coaches, its easy to go to where the game is played alot, but what of a coach whose only connection to the hobby may be here, plan trips to see those guys, I was one of them I put out invites many things but since I wasnt an La DFW or detroit, i didnt get responses, you can spread this hobby, but if it stays so cliqueish, what youll see is numbers grow in areas where its already strong, but it wont spread, you guys can you tube all day, but the pleasure in this game is the human aspect of it, the bond between coaches and friends, hopefully florida can revive EF/MF someday and hopefully ill be here to see it, but the joy is gone for me, help coaches that need it, brother is an easy word to toss around, but a brother is a link that is deep, ive heard that word and from some of you it was truth, but at times people in our beloved hobby arent genuine, and that is a dilemma, but our hobby can grow and is growing, but for those that cant fly all over the USA to this event or that event, try your best to do your own thing, alot of energy i expended being down for others could have been used here, but thats hindsight now, help each other always, be bigger than the hobby.

Default Self Fuel

Biglock,

It sounds as if you are upset because no one will join you in your league. As a result, you are disassociating yourself with the larger portion of the community. I see a lot is going on around the hobby. Tournaments are being held, coaches from different cities are hooking up, etc. It’s all good as far as I am concerned. Although I don’t attend EF gatherings, I still feel connected to the community. In my mind, I believe that I am an integral part of this community. I interact with this community through this message board and through my videos. Maybe you need more face-to-face interaction in order to feel like you belong. That fuels your passion for the hobby. What I have learned through my years of playing this hobby is that you have to fuel yourself. The electric football community as we know it could fold today; I will still be playing and making videos because this is about me. It’s not about anyone else. I play this game because I love this. I think you would have an easier time if you focus on Biglock and not on everyone else.

Default mo with all due respect your off the track

Maurice my friend you know I respect you, so ill keep this in the realm of Gentlemen who, agree to disagree, first from 04 to 07 the SFEFLOC run well enough to go from four coaches in its begining to Eight coaches at present, so me playing in a league or having coaches in the league is not the issue, The self Fuel ok whatever, if thats how you see it, i dont have time or patience to try to sway your viewpoint. But what I am speaking of is those who dont support you when you support them, EC you do your thing, ive respected what you do from a persons viewpoint of wow that guy does his own thing, and its great, but really your interaction with other coaches is prety recent, so your really speaking from a perspective of well Lock should feel like this, no my brother I have given to this hobby and asked very little, I supported hobbyist weather I knew them or not, but when I came to these same cats for help they had no time, I understand the times we live in are hellish, gas food just living everyday is tuff enuff, what really got me was with the project with the kids, and ill say it openly, cats that i thought were my people showed no interests, the community supported, peeps ive had very little interaction
with showed more love to these kids, than guys that say brother to my face and f that behind my back, Fuel yes iam fueled but not in anger but realisation, that at times you can depend on people but at times it is a one man show, but spreading the love of a hobby to an entire city, county and state is more than one can do alone. for four years i attempted to be rhat guy, So fuel gas propane whatever name u want to put on it EC it doesnt matter to me, because i know I did my best to promote EF in the state of florida and in that im proud. So focus just on me EC, to me your outlook is selfish, ill always have connection to this hobby, I dont need a plaque trophy, or shooting You tube vids to make my mark on this hobby Maurice, my love of it for four years and the work i do with these kids left a crater! I wont speak on this issue again, peace love and fellowship my EF/MF family keep it alive, HELP THOSE THAT NEED IT, NOT THOSE WHO ALREADY HAVE IT!

Default Hang On

When I said, “focus on Biglock” I did not mean it in a selfish way. I am saying that when your allies leave you hanging, you must look within yourself for strength to carry on. In that capacity, it won’t matter what someone does or doesn’t do for you or with you. Do what you can with what you have. Regardless of the circumstances, those kids that you work with depend on you.

Default Hey Lock.

What are you in need of?

I have some teams and bases I can spare.

Didn't I send you some a while back?

Paint, supplies - I'll send along a Michaels gift card or the like.

PM me - let me know.

I think I shared with you once before that I first found EF as a young boy while living in Miami.
