Flashing!
Flashing: To quickly pass lighter underneath prongs to remove excess flash from prongs/brushes to enable the base to move better. "Not recommended for children to flash bases(fire hazard)".
Brushes: are the old school name for prongs. |

Come on guys. I need more words for my glossary. This is a chance to contribute to a great website for all who love the hobby and need this information.
Can anyone else step up and supply a few words or do I have to play the game all by myself...(you know I will if I have to)... --DM |

TTC Bases: Total Team Control Bases. Were either a "Red Prong" assembly for the front of the base or a wheel assembly that could adjust a players direction of play.
Rookie Base: A base with either a "Hook" prong coming up from the front end of the base, or one with two "prongs" that the player would slide into. These could not be "steered". |

Prongs (Cleats)-4 to 8 extensions under the base. Through adjustment of the prongs the base can be given direction, speed and strength.
Could be worded better??? hhhmmm

Words
Passing Target: Another form of Pass Simulation which uses a spinner atop magnetized base for TTQ passes. If target spins, pass is complete.
Fumble Man: The 'Fumble Man' is determined before the game, and depending on specifics of use via league rules (FOB, Coin Flips, Multiple Hits, etc), contact by this figure causes fumbles. To The House: a) Term used for a playmaker who can make it endzone to endzone, usually reserved for RB figure, 'He took it To The House!', b) A play that goes all the way and results in a touchdown takes it 'To The House'. Tweak Master: see 'Mike Pratt' Milliput®: The 'Epoxy with a Thousand Uses' , used by miniature football customizers to add-on to figures: Shoulder Pads, Thigh Pads, Helmets, etc. The possibilities are endless. Quick drying and nearly 'indestructible' Milliput® is worked using a dremel in a method much like sculpting. (See: Big Lock, Chris Robinson) Last edited by TVsCHACHI : 03-07-2007 at 03:56 PM. |
