Ok, here is another real rookie question,.....with the felt balls, what do you do with a new ball? What is the communities general rules, cutting a slot in the ball, using moisture on the ball, ...whats the do's and don'ts?

The balls already have a slit cut in the middle so you will not need to do so. As I mentioned earlier the balls are inexpensive so order a set and you decide which one or ones you prefer.

They already have them? I have the white felt ones and can't find any slots? If possible can someone explain where on these little things they are?

all pre-cut ball have a slot on them, but you have to "break" the edge sometimes to find it's starting point.

i have "ball boxes" for sell ...will post a pictures of the tpyes I have available

some of boxes have some of these favorites

"big pill" - EFDW special
"puff daddy"- Tudor LARGE foam
"big and little" leather balls
miggle felt
miggle foam
miggle 'ice cream'
old school felt

Well, looking at the ball, is this slot on the narrow side that goes the length of the ball, or on one of the ends? Sorry!

THERE IS A MORE POINTED END ONE THE FELT BALLS AND ONE END IS MORE FLAT THE GROOVE SHOULD ALREADY BE CUT INTO THE FLAT , WHAT I DO IS GET A PERMANENT MARKER (A BRIGHT COLOR ) AND COLOR THE OPPOSITE END OF THE BALL SOO YOU WILL ALWAYS KNOW WHICH END IS WHICH ALSO WHEN IT FALLS ON THE FLOOR ITS EASIER TO SPOT(UNLESS YOUR BLIND LIKE REVENNA AL) LOL
HOPE THIS HELPS A BIT.
