Default That is the case.....

We have the same rule in the Harrisburg BuzzBall League and that loophole/strategury is hardly ever used in all the games we play.....IF we see the rule being abused, .............then we will make a ruling on it, however, it is always best to have some fast safeties and good DB's covering the receivers.

By hey, .......in the DFL in LA you CAN throw to engaged receivers AND receivers that are on the ground..... which to me is way more offensive than a little creativeness when placing the sticks

Default Sticks

I don't have a problem with the rule. Just want to make people aware so that if I use it, they were warned ahead of time...no barking. I'm fully aware that it can be done against me as well.

My take always is:
1) I'll express my opinion on the rules before they are published to try to make them better/clearer/etc

2) As long as they're published ahead of time, we can prepare a team and strategy towards those rules

3) Just tell me where and when to show up and I'll play under those rules.

4) I'll try to point out things ahead of tourney time so that people aren't confused during the game or thinking that we're making it up as we go along.

We've done all 4...that's all anyone can ask. I'm looking forward to the event. As for abusing the rule...heck I'll be happy to get one guy open, let alone 2.

Default I'm full of stupid questions

I'm not sure on the numbering guidelines for WRs.

Are 10s, 12s, and 14s illegal?

If so I'm screwed

Phew!

Thanks Rip.

Now I'm about to weigh my boys and bases here so things are in order for the official weigh-in later this week.

Salut!
