Im am in with whatever everybody decides. My idea was for business members to showcase their products with MFCA Teams on their web-sites instead of NFL or NCAA teams.

Default WEEK LONG MFCA TOURNEY 2010

WOLF,

After we see how things go in august, can you keep in tyhe back of your mind a week long tourney with only MFCA REGISTERD teams in 2010.
Before the 2010 tourney, we can create something around the country leading to that date. just some thoughts on PERSONALIZED TEAMS and what can be accomplished with them.

THANX

Default Dre

We need a staff for a one week tourney...are you volunteering to do all the work? I for one don't have that option.

Default THE RIGHT NOW !!

RIGHT NOW,

The main objection is to get everyone interested in creating there own teams. After that there a many options to utilize that team. Whether it's a week convention or a week end (does not matter). We can do some things. A week long convention was not really the main focus here. Just throiugh that out there as a possibility. Im quite sure if there was a week long convention, members would sign up to help out in all areas.

thanx

Lightbulb Team name?

The name I have chosen is one that I've used in a fantasy baseball league. The Bloodbought Kinsmen. As for colors, I'm pretty sure one of
them will be red . I'm tinkering with the idea of bronze in there somewhere, possibly even the shoes. From a biblical standpoint, every time you see bronze in the scriptures, it refers to judgment. But I can't recall
any team I've ever seen that has used this color

Well, you know where I'm at when it comes to making up teams... I already have my 8 team fantasy league , and another 8 to add to it when I'm finished with this season, but I figure I can join the frey for the MFCA. So, here it comes. Straight from Cairo, Egypt, decked out in their gold and turquois with crimson and black trim...... the Cairo Ra. Yes, the Eqyptian Sun God lives!!! I can hear the chants now "Sis boom bah, Cai-ro Ra!"

Whatcha gonna do, when the eye of Ra beams down on you????

I recommend that this idea be used in as many leagues as possible. Let's use this as a statement against the NFL and NCAA licensing policies. We still enjoy our game.....maybe more than ever, since we get to be extra creative here! The NFL and NCAA get snubbed. It doesn't hurt them much....but every little bit means something when money is tight. No more free publicity for them this way either. I hate having to go this route, but it makes sense for us. So next year....the CBSMF might have a new name....but still will run the same. Better yet, nobody will be running the same team....all of them will be original and distinct.

Default REMEMBER, CREATE A TEAM YOUR PASSIONATE ABOUT MAKING !!

COACHES,

Remember to create this team as thee end all be all. make sure it is a team you can get behind and become very passionate about. Just as if someone is crazy about the cowboys, create that atomshpere for yourself. We are all going to keep playing with and making our NFL and college team But for the MFCA, make just one ultimate unique team that is soley yours. This has sparked in interest in coaches to want to do this. How could you not want to do something that will be yours. Im in hope that half the MFCA population would adopt the move and then we can do some things that will be talked about later. I know of some heavy hitters who know how to set things up .

This is fun because you should see the joy/fun people have in the fantasy football leagues here in new york thinking of a name for the teams. THIS IS WHY I SAY MAKE SURE YOU ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT ABOUTT THE PROCESS BEFORE MAKING A FINAL DECISION ON A NAME AND TEAM COLORS. When you walk in a room and someone is not sure who you are. You can be identified as oh, that's the coach who play with the (team name). If you make up any ole name just to hurry up and do it, you will end up changing the name several time. MAKE SURE IT IS SOMETHING THAT REALLY SAY'S SOMETHING ABOUT YOU AND WHAT YOU REALLY LIKE.

Everyone is different, you can be crazy about cars, motorbikes, place you visited on vacation that sticks with you. For those who were in the military you can find many things there like a certain squadron or area youwere a part of. You can dedicate a team to you mother, father, grandfather and kids. AS LONG AS IT IS A COOL NAME THAT MEANS SOMETHING TO YOU, YOU WILL GET BEHIND IT ANND ENJOY. I have a guy at work who named his fantasy football team "THE 3 MONSTERS" . He has 3 young daughters who he said run around terrorizing the house all day so he says those little monsters. So his team name came about from the love of his 3 kids. But you get the idea.

Sounds like sour grapes because you don't have a cool music video for your team.

Here's the inspiration for my team:

Needless to say, I'm going to have some HOT looking cheerleaders. Susanna Hoffs ROCKS!

And here's another video with some nifty ideas for the teams uniforms:
