I have seen gaps W-I-D-E enough to run two backs side by side through them, that has to be watched.

Bases cannot touch each other ??????? (not sure on this will ask Joe Greco he is very knowledgeable of the rules as they are "WRITTEN" and no arms interlocking.....
When you enforce the rules as they are written then there is no grey areas but often guys mixup there home state rules with the actual CBSMF written rules....

Exactly! That is Y the loopholes have to be closed. You can't leave it up to a coach to interpret the rules himself. In L.A. we do our best to close the loopholes, and explain the do s, and don't s. If rules are clarified...there is less arguing, and hassles when interpreting the rules. It has been 3hrs...I know someone on the committe is online. GET OFF THE PHONES and chime in.

E, whats happening.
Sorry you did not get a response other than mozeeks and several others. Im not 100% sure and do not want to give you the wrong info. A lot of coaches are probably in route to the miggle tourney. Wait for the detroit guys to see this post and they will clarify things for you. I think greg went to the tourney. i know ken allen and others are good on these rules. They will chime in once settled in ohio, or when they get back. 1)I have seen the line smashed together which i don't like 2)I have witnessed lines separated by a base length. I guess they are both legal. mantaraydre

Thanx for your response Dre. I will give them the benefit of the doubt... due 2 Miggle being this weekend. I saw Reg logged in earlier, so he can respond. I think I saw Mike R. Logged on as well. I will be playing coaches who choose so by these rules this season. I would like clarification, so that I can devise my offensive stragities. I'm pressing them to give me answers because they need to be professional and show the nation that the CBSMF is for real.
