Default Only A Suggestion

I said I was speechless in my last post concerning these Cowboys. Here I am saying what I really feel.

These Cowboys are so well put together that I believe that they shouldn’t be used for play. These figures shouldn’t be handled by naked hands too often. These figures, although they are in a two point stance should be mounted in a display case. I know that there are some coaches who are not interested in just displaying any of their figures. Believe it or not, I am one of them. If these figures were mine, I would have to make an exception. Those Cowboys look too good to be handled constantly in a game.

My suggestion would be to have them mounted in a display case. At the base of each figure, provide a place for an autograph to be signed. Then, try to get an opportunity for Romo, Owens, and Barber to sign in the place where their figure is.

Maurice,
thanks for the kind words. That would be AWSOME to get these autographed some day! By the way, I'll be sure to get you quality pictures of these for your video (sorry been SOOOO busy).

The bar is being raised in terms of life-like figures being used in play and I love it. Not only do these specific figures see the vibrating miniature field, but my 6 year old son plays with them. The delta ceramcoat is a very durable top coat and I've recently layed carpet in my playing room in case the figures are dropped. The figures are based up and I feel they perform as good as they look, they are just waiting for the completion of the rest of the offense which is 90% complete. These figures are my new baseline for all the figures I am creating. Making custom figures is something I love to do and I enjoy trying to raise the bar for myself and seeing others raise the bar for the hobby. In fact, its the people on this board who share their techniques or pictures that are the major part of the inspiration for me.

Default It's Cool

I am still open for more photos from around the hobby. Currently, I am busy creating my teams that I want to show in the YouTube production. I don't want to give away too much information because I don't want to spoil the finished product. I want it to be a surprise for all including myself. It's cool. Send your pictures when your ready. Try not to take too long.

Cool Cowboys Trio & more...

Joe,

I hope you don't mind bro... but I tried emulating the poses of the Cowboys trio that you're doing for me. This was my first time working with FF.com figures for customization. I'm not at yours, Reggie's, or Rick's level yet but these puppies didn't come out too bad. Also, I included poses made by the one and only Joel Pritchard. He made them for my RR-America's Team. Joel did an outstanding job.

Peace,

Don

Default Those are awesome!

You did a great job with them!

I love working with FF.com figs...they make it easy to do just about anything...you can make almost any type of custom pose you want.
