Default Way to go!

Looks like the coaches of the GLEFL are a force to be reckoned with. I hope that everyone is having fun this weekend.

What?? Doug coming fresh out of "RaiderNation Camp", a "Rookie Coach", playing in his 3rd ever EFL game took the "Shower Of Power" Jim Davis down to the wire. Please let it be known that there were only 2 of Jim Davis bases on Doug's, Cincinatti Bengal team, and also let it be known that unlike "Norbert's Schedule"", Jim Davis has only played 1 coach with a winning record, Michael Robertson, and the mighty Texans rushed for UMM 27, maybe 37 yards, and lost 28-14. No doubt about it Jim Davis has a very strong rushing team, going to shatter the single season rushing record, but lets keep things in perspective his is playing a last place teams schedule. Lets understand though that Jim Davis has done an outstanding job under the shootout rules, but do you think that an all out rushing game will win him a Title? That is yet to be determined.

Cool Rpd

Don't sweat that stuff nor diminish anyone because of some posts. Your last line says it all and it is clearly evident in any league that you cannot use one style to play. Maybe we should get the updates and info from the main web site.

We in the "D" are just showing some support for our travelers. We know how these things are going to play out already so do your thing. One way or another please understand that the Great Lakes is the Great Lakes, and the DFW is the DFW. When Jim and Norbert travel and play in Texas they are "DFW " Coaches. When they play in Michigan they are GLEFL coaches. The irony is that no matter how the rules change, the concept of football remains the same. So enjoy!

Nice post Barry, thanks!

Everyone wants to know how the Road Warriors are doing , especially the more well know coaches like Jim. He is obviously doing his thing and I think the disclaimer posted earlier that he was only beating coaches with losing records kind of took away from the main purpose.

His league mates as well as the rest of us wanted to be kept up to date on his progress. Who cares who he beat, those count as victories, same as they would if he played Reg and beat him. A win is win, he went out there to win and he is doing just that.
