Seriously though, what does it represent?
In '08, Adrian won the coveted leather helmet worn by Mike Turner when he played pee-wee football WITH Pop Warner (they called him "Pup" in those days ) back in the early 20s or so, and I think the Golden Whistle was my Runner up prize???

That was funny as h-e-double hockey sticks, wasn't it?

The Golden Coaches whistles were awarded to the the team members from a MFCA region with the highest point total in the Coaches Points Challenge.
The first year the 3 whistles went to: Jimbo Dunagan, Damon Lucas and Steve Martin who were the team members from the Great Lakes Region. Their names are also engraved on the perpetual travelling Daley Award. This last year the South West region won the award and the whistles with the team members of Mike Robertson, Robert Don and Doug Shanefelt. The Daley Award is currently in their possession until next years convention.

I had a coach suggest a very interesting format. Give each coach 22 players (stock), everyone gets the same figures. Give everyone 22 bases(same bases), set a time limit, say 1 to 1 1/2 hour, so that bases can be tweaked. Then go play. I thought this was a very interesting idea.

Used to do that format. The coaches didn't like it and the quality of play sucked.

However, that was before the tweak era with the pliers and all. But wouldn't that contest be about the best tweaker, not coach.

The high level of play is what most coaches are after. That being said, you can still only use stock figures and bases at both Miggle and Buzzfest. You just have a longer time to prepare and tweak your bases priro to the tourney. Odd thing is that even with that it seems the top coaches wind up at or near the top.

Default GOD NO..........

....NO MORE 10-MINUTE KICK RETURNS!!!!!

BYO is the best way as long as there are qualified inspectors. Maybe, bring our pimped teams and tweak this year's convention bases when we get there???

Big country, this has been done, but not 22 players, it was 35 stock players in 1 1/2 hours, Oh yeah, that team made it to the miggle national championship game and lost by 1 point.

That was a high quality game and it was right at the start of the tweak era. Honestly, I think you'd win every one if it came down to that. You're like a machine so if we BAN you then it might get pretty interesting!
