Default SWB Rules Question...

I have a few questions as I am studying this style of play so that I may be as competitive as possible during the tournament weekend. So please only answer if you have 100% knowledge of the answer. I don't want to head there thinking I can use something that I am unable to use. I'm sure as I continue to read the rules I will have more questions but for now here is what I need to know...

1.) The rules state that figs have to be no more than 2.0grams and bases no more than 1.2grams with dials. If figs and/or bases togther are not up to 3.2 grams can weight be added to bring weight up to 3.2 grams?

2.) Can figure and or base weigh more or less as long as combined weight is 3.2grams?

3.) I read in the rules that glue is not allowed to paste a figure to the base? I use single clip rookie bases in which I have clipped the the center piece and glued the figure down. Is this figure and/or base ineligble for play? If so what are your recommendations for attaching a figure smoothly to a base like this?

4.) I read your section on bases and it doesn't mention anything about munro bases? Are they allowed? Are frankenstein bases allowed?

5.) Arms forward figures are considered cover corners in our league. Is there a limit to how many you are to have on the field at one time? This is not addressed in the rules and I would like to know if I'm am able to have as many as like on the field as long as they are not used at any skilled positions?

6.) What size game boards are the games played on? Is the speed of the set agreed upon between the coaches or is it set by the tournament committee?

I have more questions. Your help with the few I've posted thus far is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Mike Robertson

Here ya go, Mike. I look forward to seeing you there. - Jimbo.
  1. No. BTW, maximum base weight limit is 1.300 grams.
  2. No. Figure max is 2.00g + base max (TTC) of 1.300g = max weight (TTC) of 3.300g.
  3. I've done the same. ONLY 2-sided tape is allowed. Bring extra.
  4. IF they weren't listed in the "Equipment Specs" then they are NOT allowed. So, NO and NO.
  5. Again, NOT part of the "Rules" see "Equipment Specs." Allowed on OL ONLY on Offense; anywhere and any number on Defense.
  6. We use MegaWattz boards and 308s; speed is set by both Coaches, as long as BOTH Coaches have at least 1 player that can run 70yds in 4 seconds or less, with 22 players on the field. So, the boards should be FAST!!!

Default Customizers, bring your tools...

to the Seawall Brawl! If it is okay, we will do some customizing on figures and just talk about what works on what base. Sometimes poses are pretty but don't tend to work on the field. I know all of you have thoughts on that and I would love to hear what you have to say on this.

I will be very interested to see some of the new designs of FF.COM players as I will be trying to get any pointers I can. So bring your super glues, lighters, cold water and bowls, exacto knives, puddy, and everything else to make this an enjoyable time.

Default Quick Brawl Questions

Coaches,

There is going to be a quite an awards ceremony at this years brawl that will be absolutely riviting. It's going to be something that will rival the grammy's/oscar's. incredibly star studded.

MY QUESTION IS, WHAT TIME DO YOU GUY'S INTEND ON BEGGINING THE GREEN ROOM RUMBLE. Ofcourse nothing can be attempted until the awards ceremony comes to a close friday night. Are you guy's looking to play
11:00, 11:30,12:00mid, 12:30 ? In the world of miniature football, the night is still young at those times. What time is condusive to you guy's beggining the
"GRR". WE NEED TO KNOW THIS.

ON A LIGHTER NOTE, WHAT TEAMS ARE YOU GUY'S PLAYING WITH AT THE BRAWL AND HAVE YOU STARTED PAINTING AND DECALING THEM YET ?
3.3 GENTLEMEN. RMEMBER, AS SOON AS YOUR SPOTTED IN THE HOTEL, YOU MUST DEPART WITH YOUR TEAM IMMEDIATELY FOR INSPECTION.
PLEASE WEIGH YOUR TEAMS 10 TO 20 TIMES BEFORE LEAVING FOR THE BRAWL. THERE SHOULD BE NOT ONE REASON WHY ANYONE'S PLAYERS DO NOT PASS INSPECTION !!!!!!!!

IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT ANYTHING IS REGARDS TO BEING READY, PLEASE POST/ASK THEM IMMEDIATELY. DON AND JIMBO WILL ANSWER ANYTHING RIGHT NOW. SATURDAY MORNING EVERYONE SHOULD BE LOCKED AND LOADED AND READY TO GO WITHOUT ANY WAVERING.

YOU ARE BEING ASKED RIGHT NOW, WHAT IS IT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO BE FULLY PREPARED ON SATURDAY MORNING. PLEASE DONT WAIT UNTIL JUNE 19TH TO FIND OUT WHAT YOU NEED.

ASK ANYTHING, NO MATTER WHAT IS, THE QUESTION AND ANSWER PARTY BEGINS RIGHT NOW !!!

FIRE AWAY AND DONT HOLD BACK

ps/ failing to prepare means your preparing to fail !!!!! ASK YOURSELF, do you want to be the coach on his way back to his hotel room 1:30 saturday afternoon, I DONT THINK SO. BETTER TO ASK NOW THEN ON THE FLY AS YOUR GAME IS GOING ON. THAT'S A RECIPE FOR AN EARLY EXIT AND A TICKET TO THE MARDI GRAS ACROSS THE WATER. TOO MANY COACHES WITH TOO MANY SKILLS ARE COMING FULLY PREPARED SO WE ARE GIVING YOU THE BEST SHOT AT COMPETING RIGHT NOW. "WE ARE ACTUALLY GIVING YOU A CHANCE TO SEE VINCE LOMBARDI'S PLAYBOOK BEFORE THE GAME. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT!!!!!! JUNE IS SOON
