Good to see the EF action close to home here! Hope to get together with you guys soon....certainly in July at the next open run....but hopefully sooner. Nice to see Bill back at the hobby with enthusiasm again. I miss his wise counsel!!! It looks like I will have plenty of experienced folks to school me at the college tourney in September...but that experience will only make me stronger. I will just have to pick up the pieces, add some new twists I learn along the way...and rise from the ashes!

Default Jimbo asked: are my FIGHTING ILLINI still welcome in CA?

4SHO!!!
Come get your hardware brah!

I had a blast as well. It was great to finally get on the electric gridiron with you. Your teams Illini/Bears are both superb teams run by an excellent coach. I learned alot during our scrimmage. Sorry that we only got to run 1 series each with our pro teams. I hope you can make it out for the tourney in September. Great day of fellowship.
Peace

Default Dave And Eric

That was an awesome day to play some ball! I really wish I woulda just set the vid and recorded everything, 'cause I missed a lot. But, this has to be one of my favorite plays of the nite, even though E scored a few plays later. But, I'll give up a 10 play drive as long as I can get it back in 5 plays!!!

Default Open Run College Tourney Q & A

Q:How many men allowed on team rosters?
A: 45 men

Q: Can I use magnetic tape to get my men up to weight?
A: No, magnets are only allowed to be affixed to the base of the stationary QB or Kicker, used in passing or to spot the ball when attempting a FG.

Yo RJ,the next Open Run date is Saturday July, 12.

Default I will see you in September

It's tentative but it is a go! I will see you in September. I think Michael Robertson may be coming too. It's still kinda up in the air? But we will be coming to support. Never had the chance to meet Coach Champion (David Campbell) and I definitely look forward to that.

Yall know yall are gettin' into my Tennessee/UCLA trip that I would have taken. If it was anybody else, I probably would not have did that but I will bring the magic of "Rocky Top" with me.

See yall in September! Let's hype this "Thang" up!

Thumbs up This is really cool!

This open run is a great idea. The website is nice. I'd love to see this duplicated around the country.
