milk distilled Vodka, of course, because of my ethnic origins

Seriously, it's some cheap alcohol you can find in any hardware store (where you find paint thinner, distilled water, and stuff like that)

At least the work I did has been usefull for MFCA modelling articles.

I have no problem to start again and again. I believe it's a good educational way : do it again and again, until you do it right

So are you Russian origin?....I thought Dimitri wasn't a very French sounding name.

I first dip them 6hours or less, then make a first cleaning (teeth brush +soap and fresh water). If all the paint did not come, I dip them again a few hours more, and do the same. I already left figs for days in alcohol without any problem.

On that particular figs, I 'm trying to remove only the brushed acrylic paint, not the undercoat. The undercoat I'm using is a lot stronger than miniatures paint : Even after days, it will not be removed completly. Since I want to paint that figs that week end, I want to remove the paint but not the undercoat, because if the undercoat starts to be removed, I'll have to wait a couple of days more to completly remove it.

I'm trying new black skin tones on the Niners figs I'm painting, I guess I found a good technic for dark but "readable" skin effects, that I will be able to reuse on the Bucs

BTW, that figs will have homemade decals too.

Default On efface tout et on recommence

Hi ,

SO finally, after a good alcohol bath, I made another undercoat, and started to paint again.

I decided to make a slightly lighter skin tone, based on the last experiments I 've done on my Niners seconds WR and running back.

I'll finish that figs that week

BTW? the figs will be wearing a 1976 home uniform, homemade decals.
