Default The Champ

Who else should be Champion of our Nations Capital than the man we call

N A T I O N A L

This was not the trophy for the title. The BEFL champion gets a ring. Hopefully I will have it by time the BASH comes around, all you guys can see my bling! I will also have it for the MFCA convo, so you can see it there. Heck they might just bury me with it!!!

I'm on top of the world!!!!!!!! I'm above the Law!!!! I'm Pretty!!!!!!!! They didn't want Lomax has the Champ...he's too ugly!!! So is Tom....

Just playing.
But seriously, just want to thank all you guys that replied to this post, to the guys that emailed me, texted me, PM'd me and called me. I slept most of yesterday. I was in the bed at 7pm or earlier. I missed the entire weekend of sports, UK vs the Vols. Danica Patrick race. The NBA all star weekend & game!!!!!
That was a long day in Beltsville. I was up at 530am to pick up SmokeStack & Glenn. I did all the driving, so there was no keeping guys up late, just me!

Thanks again

Default Hey Corey

Great job my friend, Franko called me yesterday to tell me of your championship, and I just had my first opportunity to get on the site to check out the details. That win was surely not an easy road, way to stick it out. Thanks to all who posted these games and to Dearell and others.

Default Congratulations CorEy!

The BEFL has some of the best coaches in the country. That is a great championship to win!

Congratulations to all the coaches who participated for another great season.

It was nice to have a Ray F. and People's Champ sighting.

Default Forgot to mention

I forgot to tell all of you guys that the fellowship and camaraderie from this event was truely expressed through all the post and pictures taken. It just looked like you guys not only played with passion, but you all had a great time as well. That picture with the "Please don't feed the bears" still has me crying. Again, great job to all of you. 1st class.
Corey, did you have any time to celebrate? I'm sure the cigar party was in full motion after your championship win.

Default No time to celebrate

I did get a few txts, and phone calls. The only thing I got was when we stopped at the rest spot on I95, SmokeStack bought me a Jr. Whopper & soda.

It was late when we left so I just wanted to go to sleep! When I got to Ed's house a lil after 11pm, I said I'm going to crash on your couch...but the dog had beat me to it
My big treat was picking up my rollertaco board! I hadn't seen it since the Miggle Convo. Lomax took great care of it, looked liked it just came off the showroom floor. We would have played the title game on it, but I forgot the plugs!!!

The NEFL starts up this weekend so it was right back to the grinding stone! Most of the BEFL crew will be here in Philly to kick off the season.

Default Talk about not letting it sink in

Corey, your head had to be spinning. Talk about not getting to celebrate a great championship. Oh well, I'm sure it will all sink in throughout the week and bring a smile on your face when you are doing all that hard labor everyday.
Dearell, great job on the stats and getting all that stuff together. You did an excellent excellent job. That event is not easy to pull off, and you did it up right.
