Default Calculators And Pocket Protectors Rule The Day!!!

WOW!!! What a day! I was drooling as I looked on at some of the matchups, and that is probably why I lost focus. I did realize that it's TUFF to play in your own Tourney...again...BUT I ranked #3 IN THE WORLD!!! Going for my own gold is kinda crazy and then giving it away is even crazier, right? Right! Anyway, BIG GREEN added to his collection, and I'll quote a conversation he and I had a few weeks ago.

NR: "What color's the trophy?"
JD: "Gold, of course!"
NR: "Hmmm, lemme see...Nope! I don't have a gold one yet! Lemme scoot these two over and make room for that one."

Prophetic words to say the least as Norb's BIG GREEN did damage. He ran his way to a 7-0 record, when GLEFL-mate, SPARTICUS, put a limp in his swagger in "The Battle of Split Pea Soup", giving him his only loss of the day.

CONGRATS to Coach Revels for bringing home the Gold! See ya next year.

The 3 pictures below are:

Default Additional Notes

Thanks to bluegnuoy and Ravenna Al for dropping in to check us out! I look forward to getting on the board with yous two in the near future.

Honorable Mention in the form of an IOU Heisman Trophy to Michigam Joe's Mike Hart!!! He scored on EVERYBODY yesterady and was unanimously voted the best, all-around player yesterday. I look forward - kinda - to seeing him again! Not only did Joe achieve #2 Ranking by beating me 8-6, but this was his 1st event EVER! EF-world beware, rookie sensation alert has been issued!!!

To Jimmie Johnson aka Ronnie B. and his 'Canes: Good job in bringin' the heat!!! Your 1st win over me makes you Public Enemy #1 on my hitlist!!!

Lastly, but not in the least, to the 2 girls that make my life worth living: Thanks for still loving me after I gave away that great big, old trophy! Daddy tried. You would think all those kisses in between games woulda helped, huh??? Oh, well.

To everyone else that didn't have enough notice, here's your notice:

January 5-6, 2008: Same format, bigger hotel, more teams and more trophies!!!

Default Thanks

To Jimbo and the whole crew (can't remember everyone’s name). Big thanks for making me feel welcome from the first minute that I walked in. I had a great time and you will be seeing more of me. Being I am so new to the game I didn't know what to expect. I was delighted with what I saw and learned in a very short period of time. I feel I have a new group of friends. I started on my team for next year, so watch out I am coming. LOL Ok guys you can get up off the floor it wasn't that funny. Again thanks to all for giving me a very good day at the football games. Tim
